Very happy with this illustration for NY Times Book Review accompanying a text by Joanna Rakoff about Dana Spiotta's latest book, centered around a middle-aged woman who, on a whim, purchases a dilapidated house in Syracuse, moves out and away from her family and dives headlong into home in a not-great area which nonetheless fills her with feelings of euphoria and the general freedom of concerning herself with what she had deemed until that point to be a life not fully realized.
