After some years working as an Art Director, she left advertising to devote herself fully to comics and illustration. She currently lives in Murcia where she works from her own studio. She has collaborated with press and publishers such as El País, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The New Yorker, The New York Times, Socialter and Berliner. In the field of comics, her stories have appeared in publications such as Fantagraphics, Nobrow, Kus!, Vertigo DC, Apa-Apa and Fosfatina. In 2016 she received one of the ten Gráffica awards, and in 2020 she was nominated for one of the Ignatz awards. Her latest published books are Press enter to continue and Afternoon at Mcburger's, both contain stories set in fantastic and science fiction universes. Unos de sus puntos fuertes es el diseño de carteles y campañas para eventos, como los realizados para Matadero Madrid anunciando los festivales de La Plaza en sus versiones de Verano, Primavera y Otoño. O los carteles para festivales musicales y de cómic, como TruenoRayo Fest y GRAF. En el ámbito del cómic, sus historias han aparecido en publicaciones como Fantagraphics, Nobrow, Kus!, Vertigo DC, Apa-Apa y Fosfatina. En 2010 ganó el premio Premio Especial del Jurado en el III Certamen Creacómic. Sus último cómic publicado ha sido Tarde en McBurger’s, una historia preadolescente y fantástica editada por Apa Apa cómics. Además, ha colaborado con diversos festivales de cómic e ilustración,como GRAF, Grafic-ho, Jornadas de cómic de Valencia, Garabato fest, Entreviñetas y Small Press Expo. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido con un Premio Gràffica 2016. Entre 2017 y 2019, Ana ha sido comisaria del ciclo expositivo La Ciudad en Viñetas en CentroCentro Cibeles; un programa rotatorio ubicado en la 4ª planta del centro en el que, cada tres meses, una nueva autora o autor presenta su aproximación particular, en forma de narrativa gráfica, a los edificios, las personas y las historias que habitan la ciudad. Galvañ ha coordinado la antología Teen Wolf, creada y alojada por Tik Tok que apareció recopilada y extendida en un volumen y publicada en colaboración con la editorial Fosfatina. Spain is member with Institut Cervantes. The association aims to valorise and spread international expressions of art by organising 4 events per year among smallest events. The first event was a jazz music festival - @festivaljazzycolors . It gathers musicians from all over the world, well-known or emerging.
